  • What cities do you serve?
    We are located in Kelowna and serve clients from; Peachland, to West Kelowna, Kelowna, & Lake Country.
  • How do I get started?
    We start every project with a complimentary virtual consultation to tour your space. On this call, you will meet with Pamela to discuss your organization needs and learn more about our services. If our services are a fit for your project, we will discuss costs and project dates. Please sign up for your free consultation HERE. Once a contract is signed and a deposit is paid, we will start creating a design plan for your space by gathering more information and discuss your style preferences.
  • What’s the process?
    Consult, Plan, Prepare, Reset, Live Beautifully!
  • How does billing work?
    Our services include virtual consult, our design and project management fee, and time spent organizing. We ask clients to pay a deposit to secure the date/dates. Billing is due at the end of each day that work is completed, or depending on the length of the project, the remainder due at the end of the project.
  • How far ahead should I schedule?
    Our availability varies, but we typically need a week to two weeks to plan a job. If you are planning a move or remodeling and know you will use our services, please call us as soon as you can. Even if you don’t have an exact date, we can put you on the schedule. If the date changes as we get close to the project, we can try and shuffle clients around to accommodate the change.
  • Can you give me an estimate of how much it will cost?
    Yes! After organizing a number of spaces, we can give you a range of what we anticipate the project will cost. Every space and client is different, so we offer transparent pricing for our services with an upfront approximate project bid. Professional organizers are trained to work efficiently. We will keep you updated if we anticipate any changes in the original project scope.
  • How long does a typical project take?
    Every project is so different, but our goal is to transform your space as efficiently as possible so Everyday has an overwhelming feeling of accomplishment. We can start a project at 9:30am and typically take 5-6 hours if we are doing a move, or multiple spaces, we will schedule multiple days.
  • Do you organize smaller spaces or take on smaller projects?
    Yes! We love working on those little places in your home like linen closets that need some adjusting and help.
  • What is included in the hourly fee?
    We bill hourly for time spent in your home organizing and for time spent transporting supplies to and from your home.
  • I’m on a tight budget, can you help me?
    Yes! We understand hiring Simply Sorted Interiors is an investment. The cost of having an expert organize your space and products purchased can add up very quickly. The great thing about organizing is it’s something you can do yourself! Working alongside our professional helps to fast track and get the job done in an economical way. Membership Program is helpful to keep costs down when going to task in a number of spaces over a matter of time.
  • What payment methods do you take?
    We currently accept cash and e transfer only. We are in the process of expanding to accept credit cards.
  • Do I have to get rid of things?
    Editing is a very important part of this process and plays a big part in creating sustainable organization systems. We can help you as you make decisions about what to be donated, tossed, recycled, kept or sold. We do not discard any of your belongings without your permission.
  • Do I need to clean before you come?
    That is entirely up to you. It can be helpful for us to understand how the space is being used to guide how we curate your home system. Our services are billed hourly so some clients like to get a head start on cleaning or editing their items before we arrive. We enjoy jumping in and will get started wherever you are in the process.
  • Do I need to be there?
    We welcome our clients to be involved. Our services include designing, sorting, editing, and creating systems with custom labels. Any un used organization systems you have purchased around your home can be used to assist or we may recommend purchase of items in order to assist the process. On the day of the project, our time is much more effective if you are available to us throughout the day. We will come to you when we have questions and to discuss style preferences, items you want to donate, and how your family functions so we can leave you with the most customized and beautiful space possible.
  • Can you help me move?
    YES! Whether you are moving down the street or relocating, getting settled into your new home is the best time to use our services! We can help sort and edit items before a move, pack, and then unpack and create beautiful systems in your new home. We can partner with your movers to offer full service move options and take away the stress of moving.
  • Does Simply Sorted Interiors charge a cancellation Fee?
    Yes we do, please be considerate of the extraordinary time and effort that goes into planning a scheduled visit to your home. Any cancellation within 48hrs of a booked visit will be subject to a flat fee of CAD $150.00. We look forward to working with you.
  • Is having an organizer a luxury?
    Myth; A sign of Indulgence, Not Practicality Some may view hiring an organizer as an unnecessary luxury, but it can be a highly practical investment. Considering the time and energy saved by outsourcing to fast track these services, the benefits far outweigh the costs.
